"There was not an ounce of quit in any of these kids. It was a lot of fun to watch the grit and determination in this group. As far as I'm concerned these cardiac kids could score a little earlier," Coach Womacks. The Bluestem Varsity Softball team has faced canceled games, rescheduled games and muddy fields, but they have found the strength to pitch no hitters, hit grand slams and come from behind for the win. Senior night was held Monday, May 8; Rileigh Boline, Allison Burch and Jordan Stiger were recognized by Coach Michelle Womacks. All three seniors have signed to play college softball. "These three girls have shown several selfless acts, placing the team's needs over their own. They have built this program up for the younger girls. I have been proud to watch the change in them and the team because of what they have started. I hope the other kids carry on what these girls have started," Coach Michelle Womacks.
